We will enjoy a journey exploring Lima in its three stages: Ancestral, Colonial, and Modern Lima.
Our tour begins with a visit to El Parque del Amor (The Park of Love), where we admire the extraordinary landscape of the Costa Verde and the Pacific Ocean.
Next, we move on to Lima's Pre-Hispanic Pyramid, Huaca Pucllana (panoramic view), an ancient ceremonial and archaeological center built in the 4th century AD, considered a Sacred Village by the Incas. We will also visit El Olivar Park.
We then head to the Historic Center of Lima, where we will explore on foot and admire the Plaza de Armas, Government Palace, Archbishop's Palace, Municipal Palace, its beautiful balconies, colonial mansions, and main streets.
The tour also includes a visit to the San Francisco Monumental Complex, showcasing one of the most significant examples of colonial religious art in the Americas. Its main attraction is the visit to its underground crypts, known as The Catacombs.
